He has spent more than 10 years advising the energy industry on structuring policies and regulations that govern the economic management of demand side resources. Salil’s expertise includes a variety of energy efficiency and demand response consulting services including policy planning, program design, assessing market potential, market research & characterization, and evaluation, measurement & verification.
Michael Frischmann is the Director of Evaluation and Planning at EcoMetric Consulting. Mike is constantly seeking continuous improvement initiatives that accelerate utility economics and deliver value to utility end-users. He has nine years of experience in the energy industry providing expertise on technologies, programs and policies for demand side resources. Mike’s expertise spans multiple facets of the energy efficiency industry including engineering, data collection and research design, program evaluation and implementation, measure characterization, and data analytics. Previously, as a Principal and Director of Michaels Energy’s Evaluation Department, he led evaluation and research studies for utilities and regulatory bodies across the United States Canada. Mike holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
William Goodrich is a Consulting Engineer at EcoMetric and performs all types of impact evaluation activities including project file reviews, onsite inspections, real time power metering, energy modeling, billing analysis and realization rate calculations. Mr. Goodrich is an experienced engineer and manager with a multi-disciplined background; comprehensive understanding of energy utility demand-side management markets from both analytical and ‘hands-on’ perspectives; experience providing technical consulting to utility companies and the commercial and industrial clients that participate in utility sponsored energy efficiency programs; facility auditing and analysis; DSM program design and implementation. Mr. Goodrich received a B.A. in Engineering and Philosophy in 2003.
Michelle Bruchs is a social research advisor for EcoMetric. She leads process and net-to-gross evaluations, market assessments and other types of social research studies. Michelle is an experienced researcher with more than 15 years experience in sustainability and energy efficiency market research and evaluation. Her expertise is in understanding the human side of sustainability and effective client engagement. Michelle has a valuable combination of skills in research design and qualitative analytical expertise, with a focus on clear writing and compelling presentation of results.
Cory Read is a Managing Consultant and leads the Data Science team at EcoMetric Consulting. He is an analytics professional with experience in traditional quantitative program evaluation with an eye towards data science driven solutions for next generation energy efficiency programs. Cory’s recent industry work focused on applying predictive analytics to drive and lift energy efficiency program participation while borrowing proven customer targeting techniques from other industries such as banking, finance, and retail. Other project work includes baseline development and impact analysis for the largest demand response portfolio in the Northwest and integration of energy efficiency potential into system load forecasts. Cory is an active industry collaborator in the Northwest and is currently serving on the Northwest Power and Conservation Council’s Regional Technical Forum. He has a BS in Statistical Science from Brigham Young University and an MS in Data Science from Indiana University.
Jake Fuller is a Managing Consultant at EcoMetric and performs all types of quantitative analysis for residential, commercial and industrial sector energy efficiency and demand response program evaluations. Mr. Fuller has over five years' consulting experience in the energy sector conducting data analysis and market research for multinational commercial and industrial organizations. Jake has experience as a program manager leading impact evaluation engineering activities, on-site data gathering, TRM evaluation and development of site-specific measurement and verification plans. He has also managed complex forecasts of short term and long-term pricing, and supply and demand of energy commodities. He has developed and maintained scalable databases for economic data related to the performance of energy efficiency initiatives.
Bitul Sinha is a Senior Energy Engineer at EcoMetric Consulting specializing in conducting industrial ASHARE Level II energy audits, Measurement & Verification studies, and building automated tools for savings verification. He has conducted several hundred energy audits and reviewed complex custom C&I electric and natural gas savings for DSM program administrators. Bitul has reviewed savings of over 16 million kWh and 3.2 MW peak demand in lighting upgrades, HVAC/Chiller retrofits and other prescriptive measures in states such as Texas and New Mexico. Bitul has a Master’s degree in Energy Systems and he is passionate about utilizing advanced analytical methods in verifying savings traditionally reviewed with engineering algorithms.
Kyle McKenna is a Senior Energy Engineer at EcoMetric specializing in commercial and industrial measurement, verification, and energy analysis. He has more than six years of experience conducting impact evaluations of residential, commercial, and industrial programs from across North America. He has experience with complex energy systems analysis and is skilled at deploying meters in the field. Additionally, Kyle has experience reviewing, updating, and maintaining technical reference manuals, programming and coding program tracking systems, and data analytics using python. Kyle has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing his professional mechanical engineer license.
Divya Prasanna is a Project Coordinator and Executive Assistant at EcoMetric Consulting. Divya manages administrative tasks throughout project execution, and provides assistance to the executive team. Divya creates manages filing systems and data entry tasks. She coordinates field work and travel, supporting our team of engineers in the field across North America. Divya also manages project calendars and coordinates evaluation activities, ensuring tasks and goals are met on schedule. She provides copy editing of deliverables and company communications. She has a Bachelor of Science in MicroBiology from the University of Madras.
Swapnil Kulkarni is an Energy Efficiency Engineer based out of EcoMetric’s India Office. He is experienced working on diverse aspects of energy consulting including energy audits, feasibility study, design review, measurement and verification and green buildings. Swapnil’s expertise includes data collection and analysis, identifying energy conservation measures and its design review. He has created customized statistical models for predicting, measuring and monitoring energy savings. He is a Mechanical Engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Engineering: Renewable Energy Systems and the Environement .
